History

In order to understand what Eid-Co has become, you must first understand our roots. Eid-Co's commitment to our customers began in 1951, when the late Leonard Eid, the company's founder, began building homes in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

The tradition of excellence continues today, under the leadership of his son, Eid-Co President Gerald Eid. One of two charter member of the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead still building homes today, Eid-Co has grown through the years by employing innovative techniques which enhance the livability, energy efficiency, and affordability of our homes.

A pioneer and industry leader, Eid-Co hasn't been content simply to build more and more houses. Instead, we constantly strive to improve Eid-Co homes, so they'll provide high quality, affordable housing not only today, but also for years to come.

Under Gerald's leadership, this dedication has earned Eid-Co numerous honors and distinctions, including being named "Builder of the Year" by both the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead and the North Dakota Association of Builders. Gerald has also served and continues to serve the industry, through numerous assignments with the National Association of Home Builders, headquartered in Washington, DC.
